Gregor-B. Sprißler

Advocate, Expert for Tax Law, CPA, Tax Accountant

Hailing from a Recklinghausen merchant family, Gregor-Bernward Sprißler (born 1957) received his advocate’s admission in 1984 after completing his studies in Cologne and Munich. He has been working at Korte & Partner since 1986. His main work focuses on foresighted consultancy and the drawing up of contracts in the fields of succession and corporate succession. Besides the civil rights requirements, fiscal conditions are mainly taken into consideration here. Moreover, he is highly experienced in fending off the unjustified demands of the fiscal administration and handling these cases before the financial court. Social security law is gaining more and more importance in his advisory work.

Dr. Michael S. Korte

MBA, Tax Accountant, CPA

Business expert Dr. Michael Korte, born 1971, passed his tax accountant’s exam at the age of 28 and completed his doctoral studies in 2005. Two years later, he was appointed CPA. His main tasks include the anticipatory economic and fiscal advice of companies as well as advice on old-age provisions. Moreover, he offers comprehensive advice on bookkeeping, completes mandatory and optional annual auditing and is actively involved in taxation and financial restructuring consultancy.

Dr. Thorsten Engel

Advocate, Certified Specialist for Labour and Tax Law

Dr. Thorsten Engel, born 1972, has been working as an advocate since the year 2000. In 2005, he received the qualification as a Certified Specialist for Labour Law. One year later, he successfully completed the training for specialist lawyer for Law of Succession by passing the exam. As a member of the consortiums for Labour Law and Property Law and member of „Deutscher Anwaltverein“ (German Advocates’ Association), Dr. Engel is always up to date concerning current jurisdiction. He offers his clients preventive consultancy and represents them at court. His main field of activity within the law firm are Labour Law, Family Law and the Law of Succession.

Andreas Belz

Tax Accountant, CPA

Andreas Belz, born 1979, started his career in fiscal law in the year 1999 as an apprentice in our law firm. After having successfully acquired extra-occupational qualification - business economist, accountant and "Steuerfachwirt" - he was appointed Tax Accountant in 2009. In 2012 he was appointed CPA. Being an acknowledged and versed practitioner, Andreas Belz advises medium-sized companies in matters of business administration and taxes. His work focuses on the fields of company accountancy including payroll and financial accounting as well as business start-ups. Additionally, he participates in auditing annual accounts and is well-experienced in the implementation of IT-based bookkeeping.
